  • Green Roots Fund

    The Green Roots Fund is open to all projects involving green and blue spaces and for public benefit across the capital. The funding seeks to support projects that enhance green infrastructure in London, and include and involve Londoners in blue and green spaces.

  • Council Homes Acquisition Programme (CHAP)

    Theme:

    Summary

    The Mayor of London is supporting the construction of new council homes as well as helping councils to acquire homes to turn them into genuinely affordable homes.

    How much you can apply for:

    For social rent, up to £200,000 per home. For accommodation for homeless households, up to £85,000 per home.

  • Homes for Londoners: Affordable Homes Programme 2021 – 2026

  • Building and Safety Fund (2022)

    Summary

    In March 2020, the government announced spending of £1bn to remove and replace unsafe non-ACM cladding systems on high-rise residential buildings in England. The GLA is delivering this programme in London. The Fund was previously open for applications between June-July 2020.

    How much you can apply for:

    Eligible costs for the works required to address the life safety fire risks associated with cladding on high-rise residential properties.

  • Social Sector ACM Cladding Remediation Fund

    Theme:

    Summary

    In May 2018, the government announced £400m to remove and replace unsafe aluminium composite material (ACM) cladding systems on high-rise tower blocks in England owned by social landlords (housing associations and local authorities). The GLA is delivering this programme in London.

    How much you can apply for:

    All reasonable costs for remediation of ACM cladding systems, which have failed large-scale fire performance tests on social housing buildings 18m and over.
