MOPAC Challenge: 'Maintaining Public Order'

The Deputy Mayor of Policing and Crime, Stephen Greenhalgh is challenging the Metropolitan Police and other agencies to outline their policies on public order and explain their current preparedness following lessons learned from the August 2011 riots.

This month's thematic Challenge Board meeting will involve MOPAC questioning how the police and agencies have adapted their responses following the August 2011 riots and will explore the complexity of policing public order situations and the range of criminal justice responses. A presentation, available below, will be provided at the meeting.
