Site Description

The site is around 0.3 miles southwest of Hammersmith station (District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines). It's next to a slip road to the Great West Road (A4) and Hammersmith flyover (A4). The surrounding area is mainly residential, with local shops and amenities on Hammersmith Broadway nearby.

The site has several mature trees and vegetation among waste along the site’s southern boundary. The site is accessed from Bridge View on the east. The slip road to the Hammersmith Flyover forms the northern boundary. A two storey semi-detached house (22 Bridge View) is on the southern boundary, with open space at both the southern and western boundaries.

The site is currently designated as highway. As highway authority for part of the site, TfL has no objection to an application for a stopping up order to allow development.

There is a tarmacked area on the east of the site with two car parking spaces. These parking spaces are within the TfL ownership, but are currently designated as LB Hammersmith & Fulham adopted highway.
