White Hart Triangle
Key information
The site
White Hart Triangle is GLAP’s 3.8ha brownfield site near Plumstead station in the Thamesmead and Abbey Wood Opportunity Area. We are bringing forward this opportunity in partnership with Peabody.
Recently, the site has provided a site compound for vital Crossrail construction activities. These works are completing, and the site will be ready for redevelopment over the next few years. Some early market analysis has shown that the site is a perfect location for a dense mix of employment spaces.
The site is nestled in the heart of the West Thamesmead industrial area. This means it reaps the dual benefits of excellent road connections both into and out of the capital. Rather uniquely, it also has unfettered cycle and pedestrian access to the Ridgeway - a raised nature trail which runs 5.6km between Plumstead and Crossness.
To fully exploit this distinctive industrial location, we have produced industrial-led concepts with renowned industrial architects, Michael Sparks Associates. We intend to select a development partner for this site in late 2025.
Proposals
Our new development will:
- be intensified
- highlight the green linkage to the Ridgeway, encouraging active travel, amongst broader sustainability objectives
- deliver exemplar well-being features; including panoramic views towards central London.
People and businesses
White Hart Triangle will appeal to a wide array of businesses with a broad range of space available. Specifically, it will be a perfect location for distribution, clean tech and green businesses.
