Narrowing the attainment gap, developing self-esteem and raising the children's expectations

What actions did you take?

• Obtained Gold Rights Respecting Status for schools and embedded culture of respect, kindness and high expectations.

• Embedded use of Forest School to develop outdoor learning and respect for the environment.

• Carefully targeted effective interventions

• Teachers, support staff and learning mentors focused on building resilience, particularly in vulnerable and PP children

• Enriched culture capital by arranging exciting and inspiring visitors and visits

What were the outcomes?

Happy, confident and resilient children who respect themselves, others and their surroundings and achieve their very best.
