  • Poor community attitudes to education and aspirations
  • A gap between Disadvantaged and non-Disadvantaged pupils

What actions did you take?

  • Developed quality first teaching of core subjects
  • CPD in effective pedagogy and subject knowledge
  • Deployed strategies to identify and accelerate progress of under-performing groups
  • Developed appropriate staffing structures, including leadership structures to implement change
  • Built a team of expert practitioners to meet the needs of the school and continued to review and change as necessary
  • Ongoing assessment of the needs of the organisation and managed change at pace, where necessary
  • Made the best use of resources to deliver the core business
  • Established an ongoing approach to developing team ethos, support and development

  • Significantly higher levels of attainment
  • Above national levels of progress
