- Poor community attitudes to education and aspirations
- A gap between Disadvantaged and non-Disadvantaged pupils
What actions did you take?
- Developed quality first teaching of core subjects
- CPD in effective pedagogy and subject knowledge
- Deployed strategies to identify and accelerate progress of under-performing groups
- Developed appropriate staffing structures, including leadership structures to implement change
- Built a team of expert practitioners to meet the needs of the school and continued to review and change as necessary
- Ongoing assessment of the needs of the organisation and managed change at pace, where necessary
- Made the best use of resources to deliver the core business
- Established an ongoing approach to developing team ethos, support and development
