What actions did you take?
We built a school model which prioritised rapid progress:
- Extended the school day
- Summer School
- Extended reading in the school day
- More time for English
- Shakespeare plays
- Reduced the number of teachers that a pupil sees in the week and vice versa
What were the outcomes?
A P8 score of 1.52 for low prior attainers
