This section presents a range of actions and steps to implement them that should act as a starting point for GPs and PCNs considering how to make and build on meaningful EDI improvements. Approximate time frames are included to provide additional context, however timescales will depend on your specific circumstances. As part of the primary research for the toolkit, there were clear, strong views about the workload and efficiency of general practices. The following guide is aimed at doctors who are not only partners within their own general practices, but also general practice managers, board members and decision makers within PCNs.
