Food Growing Schools London is a partnership which aims to equip and inspire every school in London to grow food. It brings together expertise, support and information on food growing, and makes it available to all London schools.

The partnership aims to encourage young people’s hunger for knowledge, and to develop supportive and healthy local communities through food.

Growathon – Ready. Set. Grow!

Food Growing Schools London is running Growathon.

Growathon aims to be the biggest London school food growing challenge of the year. It wants to encourage 10,0000 London students to start growing food by summer 2016.

The challenge: grow one thing, feed the city, and tell a friend!

Find out more about all the Growathon activities taking place across London, and add your own food growing activities to the Growathon Carrot Totaliser, at www.growathon.org.uk.

The partnership
