European Londoners – Small Grants Programme
Dear colleague,
The Mayor of London is committed to supporting European Londoners and making sure they and their families have all the information they need about living in London after Brexit.
As we approach the end of the Brexit transition period and free movement (31st December 2020), accurate and up-to-date information and guidance for European Londoners to access the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) and secure their rights is becoming increasingly important.
City Hall is inviting community groups and small civil society organisations working with European Londoners and their families to bid for up to £10,000 funding to carry out a range of activities in supporting European Londoners through Brexit. This small grants programme, which will support up to six organisations, builds on three previous micro-grant funding rounds and forms an integral part of the Mayor’s outreach with European communities over the next year.
This fund will seek to build capacity within civil society organisations to be able to support European Londoners with issues such as increasingly complex immigration cases, the potential increase in hate crime as we approach the end of the transition period and the risks of European Londoners being caught up in the Government’s hostile environment policies.
Please see the information and application form attached for those interested in applying. The deadline to apply is 5pm on 30 October 2020. If you have any questions about this small grant programme feel free to get in touch with Bella Kosmala on [email protected]
