Willow tree

Crowned Pigeon of London
Description:
I was encouraged to make this work because I’ve seen lots of pigeons and I noticed how their feathers reflected sunlight making an iridescent shine. I want to encourage people to take a moment to look and notice how beautiful something often overlooked can be. To make it I collected real feathers left by pigeons in Holland Park and glued them to a foam armature.

The Silent Witness
Description:
In my drawing, I drew a frog on a tree branch, and in its eyes there is a forest fire and a factory. The frog, which symbolizes nature acts as a silent witness to the destruction humanity has caused - environmentally and industrial. The art portrays how the natural world silently observes the damage caused by human actions.

The cherry on top!
Description:
My artwork shows that every last piece on an object or project is magical. In this case, the cherry makes the ice-cream glow up. My drawing is to show that every last bit is majestic, and it is a pleasure to see it shine. My ice-cream is a person with positive characteristics. The emojis in the background show the personalities and emotions people have when they are happy.

Break free
Description:
This represents the power of embracing discomfort to unlock one's true potential by presenting a golden eagle (of deep red and purple hues) breaking free from its chains. Symbolizing the strength and resilience required to overcome challenges and pursue freedom. Whereas the beige snail is trapped in a golden cage of comfort and stagnation, by staying in one's comfort zone. Despite this being a depiction of the animal kingdom, this applies to all of us, it is a reminder that we must push through adversity and beyond the confines of comfort to break free from limitations and reach our aspirations.
