
With a growing population, increase in high-rise buildings and a need to grow London’s infrastructure – how is the London Fire Brigade (LFB) responding to London’s firefighting and safety challenges?
The LFB’s primary role as a fire and rescue service, is to make London the safest global city.[1]
Tomorrow the London Assembly Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee will investigate how the LFB is adapting to the variety of issues and opportunities for firefighting that come with living in a modern city like London.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 26 September at 2.00pm in The Chamber, City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
