Good Work Standard events, webinars and opportunities

Join a community of like-minded organisations championing good work and continuous improvement.

We run events, learning circles, webinars and workshops throughout the year to help employers achieve the Good Work Standard and explore ways in which they can put the Standard into action.

Discovery sessions

The Economic Fairness team run information sessions to get you started on your accreditation journey every first Thursday of the month at 10am.

These sessions will help you to understand:

  • what is the Good Work Standard and its benefits
  • how to get started with your accreditation process and achieve the standard
  • what makes up the Good Work Standard criteria
  • what does good evidence look like
  • wider benefits of being part of the Good Work Standard community.

Mayor’s Good Work Standard celebration event highlights

Celebrating good practice and the future of work

On 2 April 2025, the Deputy Mayor for Business and Growth, Howard Dawber, gathered over 100 good employers, trade unions, and industry experts at City Hall to celebrate good work, and look to the future of work launching the refreshed Good Work Standard, updated to reflect the evolving world of work and upcoming employment rights legislation.
