About the role
The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is looking for a dynamic and creative Digital Communications Officer for a year’s maternity cover to help us demonstrate to Londoners how, through our oversight of the Metropolitan Police and the services we commission, we are helping to make London a safer city for all.
This is a post in a small team, and as such you will be a key contributor to the output from all of MOPAC’s channels, with significant scope for creativity and innovation. We are seeking candidates who are skilled and experienced in digital content creation, including videography and video editing, graphic creation, copywriting, web editing and social media.
The post holder will work with senior leaders and colleagues from across MOPAC, the Greater London Authority, the Met and the services we fund to help tell the stories of their work and the difference they are making for Londoners in a compelling and accessible way.
The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.
