How LEAP can improve delivery of economic development

The London Assembly Economy Committee investigated the work of the Mayor's London Economic Action Partnership exploring what its priorities should be and how it maintains oversight of the distribution of central government grants.

In particular, the Committee explored LEAP's role with microbusinesses, feeding into the work the Committee had undertaken in this area.

In a letter to the Mayor, the Committee proposed a number of recommendations including greater transparency and greater relevance to smaller businesses.
