Liz Peace CBE, Chair (Register of Interest)

 

OPDC – Chairman, Liz Peace CBE

Liz was Chief Executive of the British Property Federation for 13 years until her retirement in 2014. She was awarded a CBE in 2008 for services to the property industry.

Liz now has a portfolio career with a range of non-executive, advisory and charity roles, at Howard de Walden Estates, RPS Group, RDI REIT, Holtby Turner, and the Churches Conservation Trust. She is Chairman of the Architectural Heritage Fund and Centre for London and President of the Property Litigation Association. She is a member of the Mayor of London’s Homes for Londoners Board and chairs the Government Property Agency.

In 2017 Liz was appointed Chairman of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, and in 2018 she was appointed Chairman of the shadow Sponsor Board for the Palace of Westminster Restoration and Renewal Programme.

William Hill (Register of Interest)

William is a Chartered Surveyor and an experienced property investment specialist with nearly 40 years in the industry, including 22 years as Head of Property at Schroders plc, a large global investment management house. He formed his own consultancy company in November 2013 and is also chair of a listed real estate investment trust.

His voluntary work includes chairing the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust and he is a member of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity Investment Committee. He has recently completed a study programme run by the Cambridge University Institute of Sustainable Finance.

Natalie Campbell, Director of Insight and Innovation, The Royal Foundation (Register of Interest)

As well as an award-winning businesswoman and HarperCollins author, Natalie is a Director at The Royal Foundation. Prior to this she co-founded global social innovation agency, A Very Good Company. As a non-executive director, she chaired the Nominet Trust and is on the board of the Big Lottery Fund and LEAP, the Mayor’s London economic strategy board.

Jules Pipe CBE (Register of Interest)

 

Jules Pipe

Jules Pipe is working on key priorities for the Mayor of London, including revising the London Plan, major regeneration and infrastructure projects, and building a skills system that properly addresses the needs of young people and the economy.

Jules has unrivalled knowledge of London government, becoming the first directly elected mayor of Hackney in 2002 and serving as Chair of London Councils from 2010 until he joined the Mayor’s team in 2016.

Shevaughn Rieck, Partner at Farrells LLP (Register of Interest)

Shevaughn’s development experience and construction knowledge supports her in overseeing all technical, delivery and operational aspects for the Farrells LLP London office. Shevaughn is passionately committed to driving projects from scheme design through to completion. She has led contracts on the Chelsea Waterfront scheme and is currently leading the compliance monitoring role on Lyons Place.

Victoria Quinlan, Managing Director, Investment Management, Lendlease (Register of Interest)

Victoria Quinlan is currently the Managing Director - Investment Management for Lendlease, a global property and infrastructure company listed on the Australian stock exchange with operations in Australia, Asia, America and Europe, and a global development pipeline of c £30bn. Victoria has extensive experience in property development and is a well-known figure in the London planning sector.

Rahul Gokhale, Commercial Director, Allpex (Register of Interest)

Rahul Gokhale runs Allpex, a Park-Royal based plumbing products distributor. His previous career was in management consulting where he focused on strategy and business operations projects for large corporations. He holds a double degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Commerce from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Brent Business Board and a governor of the Haberdashers’ Aske’s Schools, Elstree.

Cllr Peter Mason, Leader of London Borough of Ealing (Register of Interest)

Peter Mason is the Leader of the London Borough of Ealing. First elected as a Labour councillor in 2014, he represents the area of Southall Green. Before being elected Leader in 2021, he served in cabinet in various portfolios including housing, planning, skills and employment as well as public service reform and transformation.

Professionally, he is a trained town planner holding a master’s in urban regeneration from the Bartlett School of Planning. Before taking over the leadership at Ealing he was the head of public sector at a leading digital engagement PropTech company. A member of the Old Oak Park Royal Mayoral Development Corporation, he is a frequent commentator on the issues of power and identity in the built environment.

Politically, Peter serves on the Labour Party’s National Constitutional Committee, the London Regional Executive and he was National Secretary to the Jewish Labour Movement between 2013-2021. He is a member of the Co-operative Party and Unison.

Cllr Muhammed Butt, Leader of London Borough of Brent (Register of Interest)

Muhammed is passionate about strengthening relations within Brent’s communities, to make the diverse borough more resilient and equipped for the future. First elected as Leader of the Council in May 2012, Cllr Butt has prioritised creating jobs for local people, protecting vulnerable residents and supporting economic regeneration. He is also part of the West London Alliance.

Cllr Stephen Cowan, Leader of London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (Register of Interest)

Representatives from the Greater London Authority, Transport for London, and the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing and Hammersmith and Fulham are observers to the Board.

Aman Dalvi OBE (Register of Interest)

Aman Dalvi OBE has worked at senior levels for many years and has been a Chief Executive of three organisations, where he has led multi-disciplinary teams covering housing development, housing management and finance. Aman Dalvi was also Corporate Director of Planning and Development at a London local authority.

Aman is also highly experienced in economic development - he was involved in attracting inward investment into the Thames Gateway. Aman Dalvi is currently working with a major Real Estate Investment Company and is advising on housing and planning. Aman Dalvi was a ministerial appointment on the Board of English Partnership and the Olympic Park Legacy Company. He currently Chairs two housing associations.

Jon Milward (Register of Interest)

Jon Milward is a former Real Estate Equity Partner at Deloitte LLP, and has over 30 years' expertise leading significant global and UK-wide planning and development projects across the private and public sector including major regeneration projects at Euston Station and the London Olympic Park,

He has acted as a trusted advisor to clients including HS2, Network Rail, University College London and the London Boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth, leading complex joint venture partnerships and major regeneration projects. In 2019, Jon started his own consultancy practice, Milward Associated Limited. He is also a Business Ambassador for Centrepoint, a charity for young homeless people in the UK.

Matthew Carpen, Managing Director of Barking Riverside (Register of Interest)

Matthew Carpen has 20 years’ experience delivering significant and complex regeneration schemes. As Managing Director of Barking Riverside, one of London’s most ambitious and challenging sites, Matthew leads the successful delivery of 10,800 homes, new railway, commercial space, health and leisure centre and open spaces on the banks of the River Thames.

As well as spearheading project delivery, Matthew is leading its legacy by establishing and chairing a new Community Interest Company to improve community engagement, transparency and communications to support residents and businesses.
