Knife crime in London has been rising sharply since 2014, when there was a 51 per cent increase in offences over a 6 month period. This spike in crime led Caroline to raise questions at City Hall and speak to Londoners to understand why knife violence was on the rise.
Following 6 months of research and consultation with organisations like Redthread and The Ben Kinsella Trust, Caroline released a report with practical steps to reduce knife crime in the city.
