Is the Mayor’s 2025-26 Budget fair for Londoners’?

The Mayor is responsible for setting the budget for the Greater London Authority (GLA) and its functional bodies:  

  • Transport for London (TfL),  
  • the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime and Metropolitan Police Service (MOPAC/MPS),  
  • the London Fire Commissioner (LFC),  
  • the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), and  
  • the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC).  

The London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee will tomorrow continue its scrutiny of the Mayor’s 2025-26 budget.

The Committee will speak with GLA officers about the processes for designing their budgets, and how they consider the context of external impacts, such as the government’s autumn budget.

The meeting will take place on Thursday 12 December from 10am, in the Chamber at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, E16 1ZE.
