
Is the Mayor’s 2025-26 Budget fair for Londoners’?
The Mayor is responsible for setting the budget for the Greater London Authority (GLA) and its functional bodies:
- Transport for London (TfL),
- the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime and Metropolitan Police Service (MOPAC/MPS),
- the London Fire Commissioner (LFC),
- the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), and
- the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC).
The London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee will tomorrow continue its scrutiny of the Mayor’s 2025-26 budget.
The Committee will speak with GLA officers about the processes for designing their budgets, and how they consider the context of external impacts, such as the government’s autumn budget.
