Health Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10.00am

Research by Transport for London found that almost half of Londoners say that cycling is ‘not for people like me’, while 24% of Londoners say they do not have enough time to walk.

In the first of two meetings on healthy living, the Health Committee will examine the importance of everyday physical activity for the health of Londoners.

2012 Olympics – 10 years on

What is the legacy of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, 10 years on? The London Assembly will consider its benefits and examine the work and policies of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).

Monitoring Officer

GLA Oversight Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 4.30pm

Under the Greater London Authority Act 1999, the GLA is required to have a Monitoring Officer. This is a role to which appointments must be made by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly acting jointly.

As the current Monitoring Officer is stepping down, the GLA Oversight Committee will establish a sub-committee to undertake shortlisting and interviews for the role.
