Will Londoners, national and international tourists be warned about fake tickets for London’s upcoming New Year’s Eve Fireworks event?
The GLA Oversight Committee will publish a letter to the Mayor expressing concern at the number of fake ticket-selling sites and how this could damage London’s international reputation. The letter will also address options for reducing the carbon footprint of the event.

Social value in planning and regeneration

The Planning and Regeneration Committee will ask how social value is defined, measured, and delivered for Londoners. The Committee will also ask how local communities are engaged with ahead of new regeneration projects, and how social value will be addressed in the updated London Plan. The guests are:

Transport accessibility for Deaf and Disabled people
Transport Committee – Roundtable, 2-4pm
The Transport Committee will learn from 12 Deaf and Disabled Londoners about the issues they face when travelling in the capital and situations in which they have faced difficulties using public transport. The roundtable discussions are being held in conjunction with Inclusion London as part of the Committee’s ongoing investigation into Accessibility and Inclusion in Transport Planning.
