Older Londoners: Financial security and employment opportunities
Economy Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am
Poverty levels amongst older Londoners are the highest in the country, with 25 per cent of older Londoners living in poverty, compared to 18 per cent in the rest of England.
The Economy Committee will explore the challenges to living standards and financial security faced by older Londoners, including barriers to work and digital exclusion.

City Hall relocation – one year on
GLA Oversight Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm
On 2 November 2020, the Mayor took the decision to relocate City Hall to the Royal Docks. After a series of delays, the London Assembly moved into City Hall on 21 March 2022, with other teams joining over the following month.
One year on from the opening of new City Hall, the GLA Oversight Committee will look at the impact of the relocation.

LLDC and OPDC

The full London Assembly will ask the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) how they are delivering for Londoners.
