Job description is as follows:

Job Purpose 

  1. To provide leadership on GLA culture, values and wellbeing strategies with responsibility for developing and delivering policies and strategies to meet the GLA’s aim of being an inclusive and engaging employer. 
  2. To support the development and delivery of a consistent, innovative and meaningful approach to culture and values across the GLA  

Principal Accountabilities 

  1. Lead on the development and implementation of the set of GLA values.  
  2. Develop and coordinate the ongoing review of the wellbeing strategy, and delivery of a wellbeing action plan that ensures opportunities for the GLA’s workforce to feel valued, recognised, and have opportunities to participate in identifying areas for improvement. 
  3. Overseeing employee experience strategies; working with stakeholder e.g in Internal Comms and across the People Function to deploy impactful engagement programs, employee events  
  4. Working with the People Function, act as the team lead to embed culture and values and wellbeing strategies, linking across the functional areas managed by each Centre of Excellence. 
  5. Plan, design and deliver, or commission interventions focusing on creating an inclusive organisation using relevant tools, techniques and frameworks. 
  6. Establish and maintain good working relationships with external organisations to benchmark the GLA against industry best practice in the area of Culture, Values and Wellbeing.  
  7. Lead on developing solutions for the GLA through research and liaison with external experts.  Ensure collaborative work on Culture, Values and Wellbeing across the GLA Group. 

 

 This role is at Grade 10.
