The GLA does not hold the information within scope of your request. Transport for London (TfL) is the Mayor's transport authority and is responsible for implementing the Mayor's Transport Strategy, and for the day-to-day operational running of transport services. You may wish to send a further request to TfL at [email protected].
In relation to questions 7 and 8, I can inform you that:
- How many vehicles have had scrappage payments been made for?
TfL regularly reports on the uptake of the scrappage scheme. The latest fact sheet is available here: ULEZ Scrappage scheme fact sheet (tfl.gov.uk)
Please note that this shows the number of accepted applications and committed funds to date. Once a scrappage application is approved, applicants have between one to six months (depending on the vehicle type) to scrap the vehicle and provide TfL with the evidence. Therefore not all approved applicants will have scrapped their vehicle and/or received their payment.
- How many individual vehicles have paid the ULEZ charge, split by those registered before the introduction of the expanded zone & those registered after.
TfL publishes quarterly factsheets on the ULEZ. The factsheets include information about the average number of daily charges paid, split by different vehicle types. The ULEZ factsheets are available in the Finance, Operations and Performance section of the TfL website at: Ultra Low Emission Zone - Transport for London (tfl.gov.uk)
