Treasurer

What will I be doing?

• Ascertain whether the financial resources of the organisation meet its present and future needs.
• Present budgets, accounts and financial reports to the board for approval.
• Ensuring the annual accounts are prepared, presented to the board and received by the external examiner prior to lodging with the charity commission.
• Ensuring the organisation is compliant with legislation and charity commission regulations.
• Keeping the board informed about its financial duties and responsibilities.
• Contributing to the fundraising strategy of the organisation.

What impact will this have?

• You will be making a positive impact on all our services and supporting health professionals to make a huge difference in the health and wellbeing of vulnerable people.
• Your support will help the Caroline Walker Trust and health professionals to provide much-needed resources for vulnerable groups.
• Your expertise will help our volunteers deliver high-quality services.
• Your guidance will support the charity to continue to campaign for better quality food for vulnerable groups.
• Your contribution will support The Caroline Walker Trust to raise much-needed funds to grow our current resources and services while leading the journey for others to follow.

Commitment

• 4 – 6 Board meetings a year. Ad hoc committee meetings.
• 2 years, eligible for a further tenure.

Expenses

• We will pay for reasonable expenses incurred while undertaking charity work, such as travel, attending meetings on behalf of the board Board agreed courses, any expenses incurred on behalf of the Trust as reimbursement for such that has been previously agreed by the board.
