What will I be doing?
- Archival work, including digitisation and digital cultural heritage technologies.
- Oral histories.
- Exhibition curation support.
- Project documentation (photography and videography).
- Backstage and front of house for events.
- Project evaluation support.

What impact will this have?
- You will be helping to make IRIE! dance theatre’s previously unseen archive more accessible to a wider audience of people not usually engaged in heritage through workshops, performances, talks and an exhibition.
- You will be helping to protect, organise and disseminate the heritage of African and Caribbean dance in the UK.
- You will be contributing to the connectedness and wellbeing of local communities through their involvement in heritage activities.

Commitment
- Hours can be tailored to suit the volunteer's schedule.
- The Pioneers and Places Project runs until 31st December 2023, but there may be opportunities to continue volunteering on follow-on projects.
