Round 2 launched in Autumn 2019 with eligible providers able to bid for grants ranging from £25k - £300k to support capital investment in equipment and small projects. It is now closed with over 30 successful applicants awarded a share of £4.2m funding in Spring 2020.

The Mayor of London is committed to supporting the delivery of skills which help Londoners meet the needs of businesses across the capital. The proposals he has funded through both Round 1 and 2 are helping create dynamic, innovative and inclusive learning environments.

A summary of the supported projects will be uploaded as they enter delivery this Summer.

To be eligible for funding, you need to be an organisation delivering skills provision in Greater London, registered on the UK Register of Learning Providers. Your organisation must also satisfy at least one of the following criteria:

A. You have been endorsed to enter into a direct contract or grant agreement to deliver education and training with either the Greater London Authority (GLA) for the devolved Adult Education Budget (for learners aged 19 and over), or the Education and Skills Funding Agency (for learners aged 16-18 years) for the academic year 2019/20.

B. You are on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers.

C. You are a sub-contractor on the ESFA List of Declared Subcontractors.

D. You are applying with the support of a lead provider who satisfies either criteria A, B or C above. Further details are available in the Round 2 prospectus.
