Good Food Retail Plans
Call for applications
Earlier this year, London boroughs were invited to apply for £5,000 funding each to develop Good Food Retail Plans.
Working in partnership with Sustain, the Mayor is supporting five London boroughs through a pilot programme to produce and begin to implement Good Food Retail Plans. These plans will help to ensure that all Londoners have access to healthy, affordable food. The Good Food Retail Plans are focusing on areas of London where there is currently poorer access to good food.
The five boroughs successful in receiving funding to develop plans were Bexley, Camden, Croydon, Newham and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Guy's and St Thomas' Charity are also funding Southwark to produce a Good Food Retail Plan. The plans will be published in early 2020 and through the London Food Board's sub-group, the Boroughs Food Group, they will share their progress and learning.
