This report assesses the extent to which changes to the welfare system introduced over the last nine years have contributed directly and indirectly to homelessness in London.
The report is made up of three parts:
- The main report, The impact of welfare reform on homelessness in London.
- An appendix, The cumulative impact of tax and welfare changes since 2010 on households claiming Housing Benefit.
- An appendix, Monthly Local Housing Allowance rates for homes within London BRMAs compared to median rents for local authority areas.
