Biography
Patrick was brought up in South East London and studied Economics and Social Studies at the University of Manchester. After University, he gained experience working in policy roles in the charitable sector and in the Civil Service before entering local government via the National Graduate Development Programme.
A graduate of Warwick Business School, he spent time in local authority regeneration and place shaping focussed policy and delivery roles, working on a range of estate renewal, land assembly and cultural regeneration projects across east London.
Patrick joined the GLA in 2013 and has since led a variety of investment programmes spanning business support and employability, digital infrastructure, public realm and a range of civic infrastructure projects.
Patrick leads the Regeneration team within the Regeneration and Economic Development Unit, overseeing programmes which work with a range of partners to maximise the social, economic, cultural and environmental impact of place focussed investment. The team is responsible for promoting high quality design in the built environment through a combination of policy, programmes and advocacy.
Responsibilities
Responsible for GLA’s investment strategies and area-based regeneration by leading the development and delivery of projects and programmes, consistent with the objectives and priorities of the Mayor.
