Responsibilities
Responsible for the leadership and management of a unit of professional experts responsible for developing and implementing the Mayor’s environmental strategies and policies, in accordance with GLA strategic objectives. Providing a link between the team and the Deputy Mayor and Executive Director – Development, Enterprise and Environment, ensuring effective communication of objectives and work programmes. These include the new London Environment Strategy and the road map to London becoming a Zero Carbon City by 2050.
