As part of the High Streets for All mission and on behalf of the London Partnership Board (formerly the London Recovery Board), we’ve launched the High Streets Data Service and Partnership. The project is taking a new approach to the way high streets data is accessed, used and managed.

High Streets Data Service (HSDS)

The High Streets Data Service (HSDS) is a collaborative data-sharing partnership between the Greater London Authority, London boroughs, and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs). It was established in 2021 to support high streets in their pandemic recovery.

Our aim is to provide organisations ongoing access to the best local high streets data at low cost and build a community of data users that can share information, experience and build local capacity.

We provide our members with access to high-quality data, analytical tools, and reports on spending, footfall and vacancy. This enables better policy, strategy, and investment decisions for London’s 600+ high streets and 200+ town centres.

Membership to the service includes:

  • comprehensive access to collectively procured datasets

  • unlimited user accounts with access to intuitive HSDS tools

  • dedicated service support and training.
