Victims Commissioner

I write with two queries in relation to the London Victims Commissioner appearance in a recent episode of Channel 4's Dispatches series (Torn Apart: Family Courts Uncovered).  Please consider this as a Freedom of Information request.

My understanding is that Ofcom have received a significant number of complaints about the episode and may be conducting an investigation into allegations of gender bias and misrepresentation of fathers in family court disputes. Based on this, I am seeking to establish if the Victims Commissioner has made any comment regarding these complaints?

Secondly, the Victims Commissioner published a statement expressing concern about the targeted abuse of victims post broadcast, describing the perpetrators as 'determined propagandists promulgating harmful extremist beliefs’.

Please advise the following in relation to this:

• The nature of the abuse.
• The type of 'harmful extremist beliefs’ being promulgated .
• Action taken by the Commissioners Office to report the abuse witnessed to the appropriate authorities and / or social media platforms.
• Any outcomes arising from this action.
