Dear Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime, your chief constable has recently said that we have had rape gangs for 100s of years. I have previously made a request for the numbers on rape gangs pre 1970 01/FOI/20/013140 and apparently this is too broad did the chief constable not have these figures when she made this statement. I would like to have the figures that were collated for the chief constable on which she made this statement. Were there any prosecutions of gangs of men successfully prosecuted in the UK pre 1970 in the UK.
