Summary of request
a) Please can you kindly clarify what current 'Race and Ethnicity classifications' are generically in use by the Met Police and also set out if Race/Ethnicity is 'disaggregated ' to ensure that demographic data is more meaningful eg: Black African , Black Afro-Caribbean etc.
b) Please can you kindly confirm whether arrestees/detainees are able to 'self identify' as Black British for Met Police statistical purposes?
c) If the term 'Dark European' is in fact in current use , please kindly provide details of the European Countries/Nationals that are ascribed to this classification? If however the term is no longer in use - please kindly advise me as to when the term ceased to be used?
d) Please can you also provide me with full details of all additional arrest reporting equalities monitoring statistical categories currently in use including : disabilities ( incl: mental illness) , gender/Transgender , religion etc.?
e) Please kindly confirm whether the current race/ethnicity classifications are prescribed by : the Met Police , Your Offices or another agency/party such as eg : the UK Home Office?
