Summary of request

Request:

  1. How many staff does MOPAC have based in SW BCU Kingston.
  2. What are their job titles/ranks and roles.
  3. Do complaints about SW BCU get investigated by these local Mopac staff?

Our response:

I confirm that your request has been handled under the FOI Act 2000 and that MOPAC does not hold information relating to your request.

The Mayors Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) are a separate and independent body from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) and so does not have any staff in SW BCU Kingston. MOPAC are also not involved in the operational delivery of policing, which is the responsibility of the MPS directly. Therefore MOPAC do not investigate complaints made about the BCU which are investigated by the MPS professional standards team.

The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) may be able to assist you. You can send your FOI request directly to them, using this link: http://www.met.police.uk/foi/ or using this email address: [email protected].

If you are unhappy with the response to your Freedom of Information request, please see the MOPAC website on what the next steps are at:
