MOPAC/VRU Bidding and Tendering Opportunities
MOPAC is committed to ensuring that procurement and grant-making processes are fair, transparent, and accessible. We aim to work with suppliers and providers who share our values and support our mission to improve safety and reduce violence across London. All opportunities are awarded in line with public sector procurement regulations and best practice.
If you're interested in bidding and tendering for opportunities with the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) or the Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), there are several ways to find out about upcoming opportunities.
Find a Tender Service (the Central Digital Platform)
Suppliers are encouraged to register on the government Central Digital Platform also known as Find a Tender where you can search for new opportunities, sign up for alerts and complete your supplier profile for free. You can find further guidance on the government website. Supplier Guidance
Tendering Portal
MOPAC and VRU make use of the Delta eSourcing portal to administrate our tender opportunities. By registering, you can access and respond to tenders, and sign up for alerts from us and other public sector buyers who also use Delta. To register, visit the Delta website [Register | Delta eSourcing | Procurement | Tender Management] and follow the online instructions.
Grant Funding
Grant funding opportunities across the Mayoral group including MOPAC and the VRU are advertised on the following web page: https://www.london.gov.uk/programmes-strategies/search-funding
MOPAC and VRU are currently using Flexigrant grants management portal to administer our open grant programmes managed in-house. External grant management agencies are sometimes commissioned to run grants programmes on MOPAC or the VRU’s behalf.
Procurement Pipeline
MOPAC has chosen to publish all requirements above £500k in value which are known about to support knowledge sharing with the market of providers who work with, or may be interested in working with MOPAC.
MOPAC Procurement Pipeline - April 2025 to September 2026
As a member of the GLA Group, MOPAC takes advantage of collaborative procurement opportunities available which means that we may seek to share services with other organisations. Where this is the case, procurement may then not be directly undertaken by MOPAC, but by another GLA Group organisation. Therefore, we recommend that the pipeline is reviewed in the context of the pipelines and spending of other GLA Group organisations.
You can also find Pipeline Notices published on Find a Tender Service with more information.
