1. Public Review Meeting 9th of March

The Mayor’s Action Plan for Transparency, Accountability and Trust in Policing makes a commitment to regularly involve communities in the oversight of the delivery of this work, and consult with communities on how we can strengthen our efforts to build trust and confidence in key areas of policing.

As part of this, the Community Engagement Team in the Mayor’s Office of Policing and Crime invited communities to join us to review key areas of delivery of the plan each quarter, and we are grateful to those of you who have participated in these important discussions.

The last quarterly public review event focused on the police complaints process, and the mechanisms through independent reviews of police complaints can happen.

This event took place on Thursday 9th March from 17:30 – 20:00 in Ashburton Hall, Croydon.

You can also find attached the keynote presentations.

The next public review meeting is taking place on the 20th of June, with more information coming soon.
