How it works:

  • You can purchase a share of your home (between 25% and 90% of its value), funded through savings, pension withdrawals, or equity from the sale of your current home.
  • You'll pay rent on the remaining share, set at 4.5% per annum of the unpurchased value (for Anchor Shared Ownership) or 2.75% (for OPSO).
  • If you purchase the maximum share (75% under OPSO, or 90% under Anchor), no rent is payable.
  • A monthly service charge also applies, covering upkeep, communal amenities, and services.
