Hornsey

Hornsey is the oldest village in London, sandwiched between Crouch End, Muswell Hill and Wood Green with lots of great cinemas, shops, restaurants and pubs. It is a five minute walk to Alexandra Palace park, which sits at the bottom of the palace, home to gigs, festivals and events. Hornsey train station is a 12 minute walk with trains running regularly to Finsbury Park and Moorgate, or buses to Finsbury Park and Archway are also available. Turnpike Lane tube station is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by bus. The building is set back from Hornsey High Street, which features the popular Great Northern Railway Tavern, as well as some lovely cafes, restaurants, newsagents and beauticians. Next door to the building is a large Sainsbury’s Supermarket. A short walk from the flat is the New River walk, where you can regularly spot local wildlife including swans, ducks and their ducklings during the spring.
