Multi Faith Network

Total Investment: £200,000 over 2 years

London's Violence Reduction Unit has created a Multi Faith Network to bring together faith leaders and organisations to explore and prioritise the sector supporting and tackling violence in the communities they serve.

The network aims to:

• empower faith leaders and organisations to prioritise early prevention and intervention 
• support vulnerable Londoners through training, resources and best practice workshops for faith leaders
• support faith communities to understand how they can play an instrumental role in providing safe spaces for vulnerable communities for diversionary activities and in the after math of an incident.

The network has established an engaging steering group, consisting of elected members to help shape the VRUs Multi Faith Network mission. Steering group members include:
