Join Twisted Stocking Theatre Company at the SUIT YOUR POCKET celebratory workshop. This is set to inspire each person who steps over the Hub`s threshold to weave, cut out, geli-print and embroider something that makes them smile and refreshes their outlook on the past 15 months of lockdown!
Whether its family groups, sewing circles, Haringey elders, local artists, gardeners and campaigners go along; bring old pillowcases, empty out some of your ` tired` bedlinen, cotton swatches and outdated favourite fabrics and re-invent/regenerate your creativity, learning new skills on the geli-printers.
They love using these and they know you will too, have some `time out re-imagining` their new community at the Lordship Rec Hub. There will be a welcome back `Festival Of Ideas` banner , that you will help to make with your fabric donations and printed designs. The leading invitation of this artistic workshop is the UPCYCLING of our old materials- let's not go back to 'normal', a stitch in time, gets us back into a 'new' groove.
