Join the Shop and Donate for their service relaunch event! The event will make community members aware of local support that responds to residents needs, which build stronger London communities and create systematic change. It will further provide insight into how the online social supermarket and cooking classes will operate.
After the event, some of our volunteers will have general discussions with attendees and take note of the information shared. Community members will also be able to contact us through our website and share their thoughts.
Our Instagram page will run a Q&A on our story for attendees or residents to share what it means to build a stronger London community. All the information gathered will help us build a final report with findings and a conclusion on what impact needs to be made by our organisation, other organisations, community members and London's decision makers.

What Shop and Donate do
We are developing a social supermarket with discounted food items for the local community members to purchase due to the 177% increase in food bank demands.
We are also offering complementary services that will provide residents with improved knowledge and skills for better employment and to exit a state of deprivation. The complementary services include: mentoring, budgeting, debt and welfare advice, job interview skills, employment skills and cooking classes.
These will provide skills development for marginalised community members on jobs that put them more at risk of COVID-19; with Black males being 4.2 times more likely to die from COVID-19 compared to White males.
