Join African Smile, for a day of discussion between local partners on the impact of lockdown and how the community can build back stronger. The event is open to community leaders, community volunteers and people working across the community.
During the event we will hear from
- Community volunteers who have been working on front lines during the pandemic;
- Doctors of the community; they will have the occasion to promote health actions that help people improve their health and well-being.
- Delegates from 7 local organisations that are working in partnership with African Smile and many other members from BAME community.
We will also talk about the;
- needs of the community
- the importance of bringing the community together
- building and sustaining relationships
- creating community connections
- people have real power to make a difference
