Tottenham Zone
Haringey's Creative Enterprise Zone
Haringey’s Zone, based in Tottenham, is the city’s home of craft, laying the groundwork for its London Borough of Culture year in 2027. The zone is managed by Haringey Council in collaboration with its Advisory Board, which is made up of leading creatives from the borough.
The story so far
Tottenham is amongst the most creative areas of London, with almost one in five residents working in the creative industries; London’s fastest growing sector prior to the pandemic.
The Tottenham zone showcases local talent, while unlocking new job opportunities through inward investment aimed particularly at young people and entrepreneurs.
Support for the local creative community
Made by Tottenham aims to support the local creative economy, freelancers and businesses by offering business advice and guidance, skills and training and a platform for news, events and opportunities.
At the heart of the Made by Tottenham website is a creative business directory featuring profiles of creative people and businesses across media, film, photography, visual arts, architecture, design, craft, fashion, music, performing arts and more.
London Borough of Culture 2027
Haringey is the London Borough of Culture for 2027 and they plan to showcase their #RebelBorough identity through events from May 2027 to March 2028, involving the zone, local artists and engaging residents.
The initiative aims to bring people together and highlight the borough's vibrant mix of cultures, from street art to diverse markets, with a focus on community-led projects.
