Lambeth’s Zone is based in Brixton and has a specialism in digital creative industries. Managed by Lambeth Council, the Zone is supporting creative organisations – particularly from underrepresented backgrounds – to develop their careers through access to business support, affordable workspace and more.
Welcome to Brixton
Make it in Brixton is the manifestation of Lambeth's Zone. They exist to create spaces to meet, network and collaborate, sparking exciting conversations and supporting our creative community to grow.
The quarterly online magazine explores timely themes through continuous conversations with artists, designers, makers and thinkers.
Training and affordable workspace
The zone is focused on training and opportunities in the sector for local people, especially those from under-represented groups. It also has embedding and is refreshing the Lambeth Affordable Workspace Policy to continue to secure affordable, permanent creative workspace.
Creative ambassadors
Meet the Make it in Brixton zone's creative ambassadors – local champions who connect the community, support creative talent, and help shape the zone.
Bleur
Bleur is an artist-led creative platform based in South London. Their range features a curated collection by artists from the Lambeth, Hounslow, Hackney and Tower Hamlets and Haringey zones.
