Soho – an area synonymous with great music venues and historic gigs. An area where the likes of Hendrix, The Who and Zeppelin cut their teeth and wonderful concerts happen nightly. But in this iconic area there are fears for the future as bulldozers move onto Denmark Street and the last live music venue closes on London’s Tin Pan Alley. Gentrification is the word on many lips.
Now it's time to reverse the trend. Aligned with the Mayor’s #SoundsLikeLondon event taking place throughout June and as part of Music Venue Trust's #FightbackLondon campaign to support independent venues, TALENTBANQ announces The Soho Music Festival: A one day celebration of independent music and musicians to be held at one of Soho’s most famous addresses. A festival designed to grow and to bring back music to basements, small rooms and rooftops in the bohemian district flanked by Oxford Street and Shaftesbury Avenue.
In a statement of intent TALENTBANQ has programmed 12 hours of live music to take place in The Salon Noir, Salon Vert and The Library at L’Escargot on Greek Street. Heralded as one of the capital's finest French restaurants, its rooms whisper the stories of times gone by and provide exquisitely intimate spaces to discover new music.
From 10am to 10pm L’Escargot will play host to no less than 10 red hot, breaking acts – each chosen for their ability to deliver exceptional live performance. The day's performances will be divided into three sessions during which the audience will move from room to room.

Born and bred in County Mayo, Ireland, Lisa Canny is a notably talented musician; best known for her enchanting covers and sold out live performances.
Lisa has performed to crowds of 50,000 and has toured all of the U.S., Canada, Europe & Russia as lead singer with Celtic Crossroads & The Young Irelanders.
She had a Top ten hit with “Lifeline” Ireland 2015, written with grammy-winning songwriter Jodi Marr and won UK Future Music’s 'Songwriting Champion' in 2016.
