An exploration of local growing culture and fair food systems with artists from Africa and Latin America. Funded by the Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture Fellowship grants, Mbilla Arts - in partnership with Organiclea community growers - presents the culmination of a two-month project exploring local growing culture and the environment.

Shown through a range of arts forms from Africa and the diaspora including storytelling, drumming and visual arts, this final celebration day includes kora performances from Moussa Dembele, African drumming parade and performances by Gambian drummer Seneke Sillah with associate artists and students from Yardley Primary School, as well as storytelling with Usifu Jalloh, art exhibition, weaving and carnival-making workshops. There will also be locally grown food for sale, plant sale and tours of the Organiclea site. Find out more.
