Dani Dinger

Dani has been involved with Queer Tours of London since it started in 2016. The collective was the brainchild of Dan Glass, legendary mincer, who realized that nothing was being done to mark the upcoming 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalization of homosexuality. A few tours were cobbled together, and the rest is queerstory. Dani has been tour guiding for 12 years, and still gets emotional about sharing the gems of our community's erased history with friends and strangers. They are continually amazed by the sudden and lasting connections between people and place that emerge when the past is revived and given new life, and at times overwhelmed by the scope of dormant history just below the surface of London's streets. She considers their work with Queer Tours of London essential to contributing to collective community and personal healing, and the knowledge gained and shared totally revolutionary.
