NDACA, the National Disability Arts Collection and Archive, is a Heritage lottery funded project that brings to life the heritage and rich history of the UK-based Disability Arts Movement. NDACA encompasses a physical collection at Bucks New University in High Wycombe and a digital offering at www.the-ndaca.org. NDACA contains 3500 digital images and a wide range of physical artwork including painting and drawing, sculpture, oral history films and protest ephemera.

The Disability Arts Movement began in the late 1970s and continues today. This is the story of a group of disabled people and their allies who broke barriers, helped change the law with the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995, and made great culture and art examining and challenging the representation of disability and disabled people along that journey.
