What’s the point of the dot London domain?

How will Dot London, the capital’s new internet domain, benefit businesses and the economy in London?

The Budget Monitoring Sub-Committee will tomorrow be questioning Andrew Cook, Chief Operating Officer, London & Partners, about the operation of its subsidiary Dot London Domains Ltd.

The Sub-Committee will look at the demand for Dot London addresses, the estimated income this will generate and how profits will be used.

The meeting will also question representatives of the London Fire & Emergency Planning Authority about monitoring of performance indicators in the London Safety Plan for Quarter 3 (end December 2013).

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 26 March from 2pm in Committee Room 2 at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA). Media and members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting can also be viewed via webcast.
